Choose the work before the model

Separate reply drafting, call transcription and actions such as refunds. They need different tests. Start with staff-reviewed answers to a narrow group of common questions, using approved company information.

UAE models worth testing

MBZUAI and Inception42 introduced Jais 3 and Jais Speech on 15 October 2026, covering Arabic text and dialectal speech. TII announced Falcon-Emirati for Emirati Arabic and Falcon-ASR for transcription on 6 October. These are publisher descriptions of capability, not evidence of performance on your customers’ requests.

Build a shortlist you can compare

Test a UAE-focused option against the tool your team already uses. Keep the same knowledge base, prompts and reviewer instructions. Validate availability, commercial terms and where processing actually happens; a UAE developer does not by itself establish the hosting location.

Use a business scorecard

As an illustrative starting point, collect 100 representative, de-identified cases with permission to use them. Include Emirati and other customer dialects, mixed Arabic/English, unclear requests and questions that should be escalated.

  • Quality: could an agent send the answer without changing its meaning?
  • Service: measure repeat contacts and successful handoffs, not just speed.
  • Economics: include reviewer minutes and integration costs per accepted answer.
  • Control: test incorrect premises, unavailable information and requests outside the agent’s authority.

Set the expansion rule first

Run a limited pilot with human approval. Agree acceptable quality and escalation thresholds with the service owner before reviewing results. Expand only when the observed benefit exceeds review and operating costs. No model is declared the best here without a task-specific comparison.
